Sandbags & Squats


It's literally 103 degrees here today, and that's without the heat index. I hate this weather. So much. That being said, the thought of leaving the house = no. I have plenty to do here today to get ready to head north (YAY!!!) so I s-q-u-e-e-z-e-d in this 30 minute doozie that challenged strength and balance. You can substitute weights in place of the sandbag, but part of the challenge was completing the full movement (reverse lunge to upright row) using the sandbag. Anyway, give it a try if you'd like! Sandbag reverse lunge to upright row with knee lift. 10 per leg.

Bosu plank walk ups. 30 seconds.

Bosu burpee with push up. 30 seconds.

Repeat three times total.

Dumbbell floor presses palms in. 10 reps.

Dumbbell seated arnold presses. 10 reps.

Bosu fast feet 30 seconds.

Bosu cross body mount climbers. 30 seconds.

Repeat three times total.

Plank rollovers. One minute.

Low slam ball squat to surrender. 30 seconds.

Feet together knees out hip bridge on bench. 30 seconds.

Lateral shuffle burpees. 10.

Repeat two times total.
