COVID-19 update: How are you doing?
Wow what a strange time we are living in right now! How are you doing? Feeling overwhelmed? Not sure what day it is? How to manage home life, school life, feelings of uncertainty, feelings of fear?
You aren't alone. I don't know that it brings much solace, but I'm hoping it provides a little. Life as we know it looks a lot different than it did one month, one week, one day ago. It's easy to get caught up in all of it and let it consume you. That's why we all have to make a concerted effort to continue doing things we love and maybe doing some things that we have been meaning to do but haven't been able to until now.
My husband got home from Florida this past Wednesday, so he has been home working instead of going into the office. At first, I watched the news on and off all day - worried about everything - and didn't really want to engage with many people besides family. But as a personal trainer, it's my passion to interact with people and I don't want to stop that.
I'm not sure what I plan to do at this point to stay in front of my clients, but I want all of them to know that I miss them! I miss seeing them, challenging them, working with them and sharing life with them! I've got some stuff in the works, but in the meantime, client or not, please feel free to refer to my Workout Ideas tab on this site if you need some at home workout ideas.
We will get through this. Of that, I am confident. Together, we are stronger, Have faith, get outside, take time for gratitude and silence and let's come out of this stronger than when it all began!
