Here we go again! It’s year 4 for my annual Women’s Wellness Retreat, and this year we embark upon the world-renowned CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa, nestled in the Sonoran Desert, just outside Scottsdale, Arizona. CIVANA, nominated as a top Destination Spa by Travel & Leisure magazine, is a destination wellness resort that offers a regenerating experience to a wide audience of wellness travelers, as well as those simply looking for a serene and healthy get-away.

 

This year’s retreat will take place November 12-November 15 and will promise to provide every attendee a wellness experience that empowers them to stay happy and checkout changed, leaving with more than they arrived.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Nestled in the heart of the Sonoran Desert, CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa offers wellness, redefined. Rooted in four intentional pillars - movement, spa, nourishment, and discovery - CIVANA creates space to reconnect with your body, quiet your mind, and rediscover what truly restores you.

Surrounded by sweeping desert views and endless skies, guests are invited to hike, bike and move through the natural beauty of the landscape, then return to thoughtfully designed spaces that encourage deep rest and renewal. This retreat blends purposeful movement, soul-nourishing experiences, and meaningful connection, set against one of the most serene and grounding environments in the Southwest.

As a group we will once again enjoy guided hikes, private meals, private wellness experiences, plenty of fitness opportunities and more. And all attendees are welcome to enjoy The Spa, which recaptures the time-honored art of healing through water in its hydrotherapy thermal circuit of hot and cold pools, cool waterfall shower and beautiful sanarium offering humidity and heat from within.

ARRIVAL

Attendees are responsible for reserving their own air travel. In order to make the Welcome Dinner at 6:30pm on 11/12/2026, we recommend arriving to Phoenix Sky Harbour International Airport (PHX) no later than 4:00pm to allow for transfer and check in. A shuttle will take you to and from the resort. The commute from (PHX) to CIVANA is approximately 45 minutes.

DEPARTURE

We are ending our trip on 11/15/2026. You are free to spend the rest of the day by the pool, enjoying the spa or departing home. There is a shuttle available to take you back to (PHX).

 

COSTS

Single Occupancy: $3,850/person
Private accommodations with a king bed, offering added space and privacy.

Double Occupancy: $2,935/person
Shared accommodations with two queen beds, ideal for those attending together. 


All accommodations are thoughtfully designed for comfort & restoration.

  • Private welcome dinner. 

  • Access to 100+ complimentary on-site group fitness classes.

  • Wellness & nutrition Q&A with on-hand speakers (TBD).

  • $300 resort credit to be used at the spa and/or for meals. 

  • 60-minute signature facial or massage at The Spa

  • Private guided hike with on-site wellness staff. 

  • Free bike rental throughout your stay. 

  • Full access to pool, spa services and more. 

  • Housekeeping and bell staff gratuity.

  • Private farewell dinner.

  • Anything not listed in “what’s included.”

  • Arrival and departure flights. 

  • Shuttle to and from Sky Harbour International Airport (roughly $70 round trip)

  • Food & drink beyond the $300 resort credit.  

  • Tours, events and activities outside those noted in the itinerary.

  • Any additional snacks and drinks outside of breakfast, lunch and dinner each day.

  • Personal items and expenses. 

  • Any additional services at the resort

  • Travel insurance.

This is my fourth annual wellness retreat, and each year the experience becomes more meaningful - deeper connection, greater ease and more space to simply be. Hosted at CIVANA, wellness unfolds naturally through movement, nourishment, rest and discovery, all without pressure or expectation.

This retreat is an invitation to step away from the noise and into an experience that is both grounding and transformative - thoughtfully curated, deeply restorative and guided with care.
