This new endeavor of mine, planning and hosting regional wellness retreats, is something that is really near and dear to me. When I contemplated giving up one on one training, I knew I wanted to keep group training. Group fitness has always been a passion of mine and I think one of the reasons it has been is because it fosters a sense of community.
And when I was brainstorming what I wanted to do once I stopped one on one training, this came to me as sort of an epiphany. My goal is to create these retreats, these getaways that are accessible to many because the proximity to home is much closer. It’s also my hope that it works with budgets more than an international trip might.
But the No. 1 goal will always be the same: to foster a sense of community with every single woman who joins me on these trips. When you’re signing up to come with me on these retreats, you are doing more than treating yourself. (Although I think that’s number one and so important that you’re doing that). What you’re also doing is supporting ME and in a small way, you’re letting me know that I’m on the right track with my goal of creating memorable experiences with other women; experiences that leave you feeling refreshed, renewed & ready to grow your inter circle of friends.
So I want to personally thank those of you who have entrusted me with this kind of experience. As you know, the name of this retreat is the Radiant Renewal Retreat. We will focus on relaxation and the mind/body connection through meditation & Pilates. I know Kristin and Molly firsthand. I’ve had the privilege of working with them & developing friendships with them. When you come to this retreat in August, you will experience all of these wonderful forms of relaxation and will leave with a more serene sense of self.
Moving forward, it’s exciting for me to think where these retreats may take us. As many of you may know, I am an avid reader. I’m currently looking for a location for a spring retreat that focuses on relaxation and wellness through reading. Health and wellness is more than exercise and diet. It’s doing things you enjoy, surrounding yourselves with people that lift you up etc. It is my hope that each of the retreats fosters these feelings of self improvement, awareness and overall wellness.
But for now, let’s focus on on August. So if you are on the fence about signing up, I encourage you to do so today. Earlybird registration ends on April 25. After that the price goes up. Why not register now, invite a good friend so you can experience this together and get excited for a fun late summer girls getaway weekend?
All the best in health,
Tracey
